As a birth doula, my role is not to serve as a medical provider, but to be a trusted companion who offers emotional, physical, and informational support to the birthing person and their partner. My goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and empowered as you embrace this deeply personal experience, while also providing essential postpartum care to support your family’s transition.
What is a Birth Doula?
A birth doula is a trusted companion through your pregnancy, labor, and birth, offering essential birth doula support during this profound time. Think of us as your guide, confidant, and steady presence. We are here to deliver continuous emotional support, provide evidence-based information, and help you navigate the ups and downs of labor with confidence and grace.
A doula’s role is not to take over but to support you in a way that honors your journey and choices. I’ll help you connect with your body, work through discomfort, and empower you to make informed decisions. Your doula does not perform medical tasks; instead, we offer invaluable holistic birth services and ensure your voice is heard throughout the birth process.
Whether you are having a hospital birth, home birth, or a birthing center experience, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you during this sacred time. You are not alone; I am here to provide guidance, comfort, and encouragement every step of the way.
Limitations of Service
It’s important to note that a birth doula does not perform medical tasks. This includes monitoring blood pressure, fetal heart rate, performing cervical exams, or any other clinical procedures. A doula does not provide medical care or make decisions for you. Instead, we offer the information and emotional support you need to make your own informed decisions about your care. I will help you communicate your needs and concerns with your care providers and empower you to advocate for yourself.
Additionally, a doula does not provide transportation to or from the hospital or birth center, nor do we take primary responsibility for childcare. After your baby arrives, I can assist with postpartum care; however, you, your partner, or another responsible adult must be present during labor and our meetings.

As a community-based doula, I believe that every family deserves access to quality birth doula support, regardless of their financial circumstances. We offer sliding scale options and flexible payment plans to ensure you receive the holistic birth services you desire.

Travel only available for Tier 3 Clients: $3000+
🌸 Tier 3 — Signature Full Birth & Postpartum Experience ($2,500)
Best for 12+ weeks gestation
For families who want continuous, deeply supported care from pregnancy through postpartum recovery.
This includes:
🌿 Ongoing prenatal support with 5+ in-depth visits (expanded based on when care begins)
🌿 Full written birth preferences planning
🌿 Birth preparation sessions including home preparation, hospital bag preparation, and postpartum care planning support
🌿 Informational, educational, emotional, and physical support throughout pregnancy and birth
🌿 24/7 on-call labor and birth support from 37–42 weeks of pregnancy
🌿 Continuous labor and birth support at your chosen location
🌿 Complete birth documentation through photography during and after labor
🌿 Immediate postpartum care for 2 hours after birth
🌿 2 postpartum visits
🌿 Comprehensive postpartum planning with a personalized written recovery plan
